Located in my hometown of beautiful San Clemente, California just two blocks from the beach in the Historic Los Molinos Business District (affectionately known as ‘The Surf Ghetto’, due to it’s provenance as the birthplace of surfboard manufacturing for the past 60+ years.) The Surf Ghetto and Los Molinos now houses more than just surfboard shapers… art galleries, independent retailers, antique shops, clothing and apparel, surf shops (of course) as well as salons, barber shops, round out the current business offerings, along with the historic Mulligan’s Tavern and Pool Hall, artisanal and locally owned brewery Los Molinos, and coming soon, Sur Coffee. New ventures combined with old favorites have helped to make the Los Molinos a shopping destination that you won’t want to miss. Make sure you visit us on the last Thursday of every month for Art Walk, beginning at 7pm.
